I'd rather die an old person in a place I don't know, simply because by the time I get old, I will have known that new place, anyway, and can pester silly young whippersnappers with tales from the glory days.

Gotta go with the classic sword and shield. Most of all because of this...

I still actually genuinely like him... to be honest. Could be because The Phantom Menace was the first 'serious' movie I ever saw, so it's all part of my entire being and calls forth tons of nostalgia every time I see it. To be honest, of the prequels, Ep1 is definitely the best and Jar Jar is, to me, still quite funny and sorta adorable (the EU takes him over the top and into unlikable terrains though).

Also: Podraces FTW!

Because you generally feel obligated to come up with some original and new question, which is easier said than done.

Or at 3 in the morning. Or after watching / reading some really bad movies / stories; those always inspire me to write because I know, no matter how bad the outcome may be, what I write will be better than that garbage.

That is for me to know and for you to wonder (and don't bother hacking or anything, there are virtually no digital pictures of me in existence).

Ever since I became active on the internet I've been trying to keep my 'true' identity hidden wherever and whenever I can.

Since it's a nice question though, I'll pass it on. What do you look like?

I'm a 6' 5" (195.6 cm), broad shouldered Norse/Germanic guy with long dirty blonde hair and a short thick, slightly reddish tinted beard. When I make fists, they're about the size of none too small apples, and my shoes look like they're from a joke shop.

I kid you not. Razz

Wait, is that a trick question? Where's the blood? The horror?! The moral dilemma?!?

Er, I'll say tea. I don't really drink either, but I had iced tea before and that was pretty cool (pun totally intended).

That's a difficult question to answer because I've had dozens of games I've played for hours before. I think the longest, though, would be Luigi's Mansion. lol.

Not being emo, it's just that I have horrific social skills... or rather, none at all. That's fact, and I can live with that. Still: Thanks, bro. Smile

Color lightsaber... Hmm...

Yellow, definitely. I think I'd have a neutral stance within the force. Also, yellow is awesome.

Although I should let someone else answer again, I really want to answer this one... >.> Like, a lot.

*Ahem* Red and Black, or Black and Red, there's just something sinister and cool about that color-combination. Yellow and Black has a similar effect, albeit a less 'dangerous' one, as it is generally reserved for potentially dangerous civilian equipment. If you see a Red and Black machine coming at you though...

This is probably the reason why the Red Claw Clan (my microspace space-pirate-organization faction) uses these colors.

Thousands of years ago, a race of hostile aliens attacked and went on a war of conquest after you discovered them and they discovered you. The resulting war crippled your race/alliance, but led to their extinction. Now you have discovered the last remaining member of their species, imprisoned, it is an individual that has the capability to bring back the entire race from oblivion. It will most likely have full control over her offspring and will be eternally grateful for setting it free. With a new threat looming in the horizon, you could use this race's vast intellect and power. You can either kill it and destroy this race for all eternity, or you could gain a powerful ally by setting it free. What do you do?

Post  The Magic Tuba Pixie Thu May 19, 2011 2:24 pm

Um. I would probably let her go, but only after signing a binding treaty that keeps all that shit from happening again. Or figure out a species-specific deadly pathogen and threaten to release it if all that shit goes down again. But then the other species would form an underground resistance, and it would all happen again... well, maybe not. I'm operating under the assumption that the other species also has the inborn human nature to fuck things up.
Yeah, I don't know what I would do.

Post  Lord Wiffilius Fri May 20, 2011 9:32 am

Right now, none. For a few months when I was like, 9, I did Coach-Pitch like every other little kid. That turned into Okinawan Shito-Ryu Karate-jitsu (Strictly self-defence martial art develope in Okinawa to defend against the Japanese invasion. It focuses on a smaller opponent [peasant] defending a larger, stronger opponent [Samurai] by using brains instead of brawn.) For about five years and I got my 1st degree Brown Belt (Our Dojo did it weird. Brown Belt went 3rd Don, 2nd Don, 1st Don) and I ALMOST got my Black Belt, but the two brothers who owned the Dojo had a falling out, and the brother who stayed was kind of a douche.

Then I took up competative swimming. This lasted about two and half years, then Boy Scouts and Lifeguarding got in the way. Now I'm in weightlifting class, but I still swim a few miles a week for my health.

The Question Thread 2.0 - Page 3 Empty Re: The Question Thread 2.0

Post  The Magic Tuba Pixie Fri May 20, 2011 11:24 am

I'd probably have to go with greed or narcissism. I find myself never wanting to waste an opportunity when I could be doing something that is more valuable, no matter how small the opportunity. I apply this to social situations all the time, and, as a result, will always leave myself open to those who I consider on a higher social standing than I am. As a result, I will sometimes drop conversations with people who are on the same social level (or lower) than I am to pursue higher goals. I am reluctant hand out money, because that is money I could be spending on myself (*ahem* PROM GODDAMNIT). However, I never dog people about paying me back; that way, when they do finally get around to it, I look like a nice guy, they look like irresponsible assholes, and I get my money back.

What is you major flaw / vice / inner-demon? (Yes, I'm passing the question on; I'm curious.)

Post  Lord Wiffilius Fri May 20, 2011 12:01 pm

I'll answer my own question Razz

Procrastination and an excess of caution. If I have two weeks to write a paper, I'll take two weeks to do it. Here is a real live example: I have an NYLT (Boy Scout stuff) staff development weekend tomorrow. The last I looked over my course curriculum sinc our last weekend a month ago? Yesterday.

I'm also overly caustious sometimes. I tend to over-analyze a situation and I'll get so focused on the gritty "what if" details that I'll miss something obvious.

Blarg. I can't think of a question. Oh! Oh! Oh! SSLF or TMI? No wait, I'd get in trouble from two fronts on that one so let's see here...

Do you have any catchphrases (Aside from the F-Bomb, obviously.)?
