Hanna, I think we're seeing.
Lucky you! Getting in for free and such.
Oh that movie, saw a trailer a while back, looks quite interesting. Tell me if it's good (no spoilers though, plz).

Re: A Study on the Feats of a Man - Three Mile Island Edition
Basically the last few days have consisted of playing MLB 2K11 and watching Phillies games (7-3 so far, pretty good start), as well as myself and a friend of mine creating a PowerPoint/children's book to explain how muscles contract for kinesiology. Our teacher seemed absolutely dumbstruck by the idea of drawing on the computer with a tablet, it was hilarious. This friend of mine is really talented at drawing and I really enjoyed writing the story itself. We have identical senses of humor, so we worked together really nicely and got an awesome final product.
Also yeah, SSLF is being poopy and down.

Since I have no other means of telling anyone, I figured I'd just post it here, since I saw during my daily lurk that you guys were talking about it: yes, SSLF is down. Scorp has been getting extremely frustrated with trying to fix the forums, and the three of us are still trying to fix them right now. I don't know how things will turn out, but hopefully we'll have things up and running again soon, and we won't lose anything on the forum*. Sorry about the mess.
As for what I've personally been doing lately and whatnot, it's the same as usual. College, write in the first installment of The Legend of the Five series, and play Uncharted 2... that's mostly it.
The first LotF book is coming along great so far, though. I've almost finished the rough draft; hopefully I'll have it done sometime before or during May. Then comes the vicious cycle of revisions while preparing a whole lot of art that will be included in/on the book, etc., etc. I've re-written this particular story over a dozen times over the course of several years, so it'll be a miracle if this is finally the last one. Here's hoping it is...
*: I never got to save the entire topics for all the installments of Journey. If we lose those... D:
EDIT: Nevermind; that was abrupt. SSLF seems to be working again, at least for the time being. Just a heads-up. I don't know how stable it is, but hopefully it's fixed. Sooo, yeah.

They seem to still be problematic; like I said, I don't know how well they're working yet. We're still looking into it.Vorgain wrote:

Anyway, I don't want to derail this topic or anything. Shoot me a PM if any of you want to talk about SSLF stuff any more and/or are still having problems (any and all notification of those and details of what exactly the problems are is always helpful)... or, if you have PSN, I might be in there in a few minutes. :P

Shit on a biscuit.
Just a heads-up, guys, I am never coming to this forum again; goodbye.
...
Just kidding. :P
But seriously, that's wild (and also a bit creepy)! I never knew that was there. I guess the "Location" section on our profiles is now a bit redundant.
Re: A Study on the Feats of a Man - Three Mile Island Edition
It is creepy. But I know both your addresses, anyways.

THIS IS CREEPY THIS IS CREEPY I DON'T LIKE THIS
Actually, I think it's fascinating. And Grom, I can see you alll the way over there! By yourself!
Oh, and Werewolf, I'm totally not used to having a girl on this forum. It's nice that you're bringing diversity to our little group.
Oh, and I finally asked my girlfriend to prom today. I made her some brownies and put a LEGO P R O M and a question mark on them. Everyone thought it was cute. :3
And the brownies were delicious.
EDIT: Wait, Merc is New Zealandese?

To clarify, "SSLF is poopy" was meant to mean that SSLF was being poopy, as in the server was not working and it was poopy that the server was being dumb. SSLF itself is very unpoopy and I love every unpoopy person there (though there are a few poopy people on SSLF, none of which are members of this forum thankfully).
This is incredible. Now all we have to do is zoom in and enhance like on CSI.

Speaking of which, I can't get on to SSLF, either.
I haven't tried to log on in the past few days, so maybe it's been like this for a while. I can lurk and view all I want, but I can't access the member stuff. Maybe that helps?

Muffo is a hobo who lives outside what seems to be a general store!
Wow. That's my house? I didn't notice the giant dirt patch out back.

I actually did think it might be close to you, because there was a baseball stadium with "THE PANTHERS" sprayed on the grass nearby, but then I realised you like the Phillies.Muffolithid wrote:*shifty eyes* They have free Wi-Fi...Grombrindal wrote:Well, THAT just confirms what I've known all along!Surprisingly that map is surprisingly accurate as to where I surprisingly live.

Okay, that's actually kind of scary.
But I just checked my location.
It's totally off. I haven't lived in Bedford since I was, like, three.

Taking another look, I had no idea I lived so close to the river. Or that I the things I thought I saw out my window or nearly a mile away. Hm.
EDIT: Or that I'm typing this from the middle of a construction site.
